Jason Carmel Appointed POSSIBLE Global Chief Data Officer
POSSIBLE veteran and data guru Jason Carmel has been promoted to chief data officer, a brand new C-level role created to enhance our commitment to data-inspired creativity.
Effective immediately, Carmel receives the promotion after nearly a decade as the agency’s global SVP, marketing sciences. He originally joined the agency when it was known as ZAAZ as a senior optimization manager and has continually evolved the agency’s marketing sciences discipline ever since.
"Data is only useful if it gives our work insight into human behavior and emotion,” commented Carmel. “I'm excited to continue building out our data-focused practices with an emphasis on the people that each data point represents."
“We believe that data inspires creativity; they go hand in hand and are equally valuable to delivering great storytelling and marketing,” said our global CEO, Shane Atchison. “Jason has a proven track record to ideate, create, and deliver new analytics and research and optimization offerings. His strategic thinking, refreshing candor, leadership, and amazing ability to tell a story has been integral to our success, including some of our biggest wins and award-winning work.”
Jason Carmel has been essential to POSSIBLE's success, including big wins and work with Microsoft, AT&T, Coca-Cola, HSBC, and Specsavers. This new appointment is the latest example of POSSIBLE’s strong commitment to use data as a tool to create world-class work.
Congrats, Jason! We are excited for what this new role will bring to the agency.
