POSSIBLE Promotes Lucas Peon to Chief Creative Officer of Cincinnati
POSSIBLE, a WPP Digital company, announced today it has promoted Lucas Peon to the position of chief creative officer, Cincinnati. Peon previously served as executive creative director, where he led the creative teams for the firm’s portfolio of P&G business including the Febreze, Vicks and Bounty brands. In his new role, Peon will provide creative oversight for all clients serviced out of the Cincinnati office, which, in addition to P&G, include ConAgra Foods’ Orville Redenbacher, Hunt's and Marie Callender brands, among others. Peon will also provide creative oversight for new client Gorilla Glue, which has just selected POSSIBLE as its lead creative agency.
POSSIBLE’s work for Gorilla Glue will encompass solutions across the full range of marketing channels with digital at its core. The agency’s mandate is to help take the Gorilla Glue brand – already one of the most recognizable names in the woodworking, DIY and home improvement industries – to an even broader audience through creative, fun and useful activations. To start, POSSIBLE will be helping Gorilla Glue develop a new brand campaign.
In his prior role, as ECD for POSSIBLE, Cincinnati, Peon took part in multiple award-winning campaigns for P&G brands, garnering three Effie Awards and 11 ADDY Awards in 2012 alone. Wins included a Silver Effie for the firm’s work on the The Febreze Global Ambi Pur Breathe Happy Campaign and a bronze North American Effie for the Febreze Breathe Happy Campaign. Previous to POSSIBLE, Peon worked at Miami’s True Digital / True Pictures as a creative director and film director, leading digital, traditional and integrated work for brands such as Doritos, Volkswagen, Johnnie Walker, New Line Cinema and McDonald's. Fluent in English, French and Spanish, Peon has also worked in his native Argentina and in France.
“Lucas has been a linchpin of our success over the past two years, delivering a creative vision that our clients value and that consumers overwhelmingly respond to,” said Tamy Harms, president, Cincinnati. “We are pleased to elevate him to this new role and look forward to his continued leadership for our global accounts.”
“I am continually amazed at the level of talent we have on hand along with the ongoing desire to outdo ourselves that imbues the efforts of everyone on the POSSIBLE team,” said Peon. “This passion for the work has inspired me every day since I joined the agency more than two years ago.”
